I’m thrilled to have the opportunity and gracious support of a longtime friend and colleague, Tia Dulany. I have known Tia for decades, and fully appreciated her love of the natural world and its inhabitants.
Tia, along with her two daughters, Eliana and Alyssa, will be writing and posting on our educational page for children. She will be introducing a new animal each month. The page will include descriptions, photos, fun facts and examples of the animal of the month. The page will include puzzles, mazes, drawings, coloring pages and some stories written by the girls.
Bobbi Kelly, a long time animal lover and friend, will continue to represent the animal of the month with her lovely watercolor images. Local artists, Fred and Aleta Sonnenberg, will also help artistically, creating our coloring pages.
I’m delighted to have this support and expansion of our educational page for kids. We are broadening our mission and focus to provide educational materials to the public, in hopes of foster a love and respect for the planet.
